Quiz and Final Revision

There is a second quiz up on the blog. First correct answer will be the proud owner of a Mars Bar!

Then on to the revision.

We shall go through examples of the words in the text and exercises from the web today.

Then a word about the final writing assignment.

You will choose from one of the following:

1. A piece of factual writing  ( see page 235 in Context 2)
the important thing here is to use NEUTRAL English.

It should be CORRECT with no SLANG and APPROPRIATE

2. Descriptive writing (see 232-234 in Context 2)

It should be IMAGINATIVE, RICH in description and can contain SIMILES, METAPHORS etc.

3. Reflective writing ( see pages 235-236 in Context 2)

 It should contain your views and opinions.

As I see it

It should contain something of one's own personal feelings and views
