Short lesson today?

Since your class will be running the election process today I'm sure it will be a very short class.

This is our revision week. I want to start off by giving you a hand-out about words to do with politics and elections.

They will not be in the test but they can help you with your word lists as there are a lot of excellent sentences with the words in context.

Apart from that I want you to continue to work on the grammar and words for the test.

The test will consist of the following:

1. Unprepared Reading Comprehension
2. Word knowledge based on " I'm sorry but I'll have to let you go"
3. Grammar items 1-4 from R&P

• Genitive with apostrophe and "of"  (Pepy's Diary)
• Regular and irregular plural nouns  (-s/ -es/ - )
• Nouns- singular in English but plural in Swedish (furniture)
• Nouns- plural in English but singular in Swedish (Scissors)

4. A piece of writing
Choose between:

• Factual
• Descriptive
• Reflective
